Year 5 enjoyed a brilliant afternoon trip to Durham Johnston on Tuesday to meet Cressida Cowell, author of the How to Train Your Dragon series. She told us all about her childhood, the inspiration behind her books and what it's like having your writing turned into Hollywood movies! Children had the opportunity to get books signed and we all left feeling very inspired! When we got back to school, we followed her advice and created our own dragons based on real-life animals.
