This week we had a past pupil visit us. Robbie Shaw left St. Margaret's 18 years ago and since then he has been busy travelling the world and teaching in India and China. He did a presentation for the Key Stage Two children all about his adventures around the world. He talked to them about what it was like to live in China and taught them some Mandarin. He showed them pictures of schools in China and India as well. The children really enjoyed his talk and asked a lot of very thoughtful questions.
After his presentation, the children in Purple Class were given the opportunity to write letters to children in a school in India which Robbie will take with him when he goes back to the school after Christmas. They are very excited to receive their responses next year!
