In football news, our girls have done it again, bringing home a second trophy! With the bare bones of a squad and no subs, they headed to the Durham and Chester-le-Street SSP Cup Final at Meadowfield and made history for St. Margaret’s.
After an unbeaten run through the knockout stages, they triumphed in both the semi-final and final in a nail-biting penalty shootout—what a nerve-racking experience for everyone! Their determination and teamwork secured a league and cup double for our school.
